Meme Forest

Overview

A first-person Grounded like horror game that uses a Microphone as one of the controls. The player shouts or makes noises to fill up the courage bar. The courage bar provides the player with the energy to run. When the Courage bar is depleted, the player is unable to move.

First Person Survival | 3 week | UE4 | Team size: 5

Responsibilities

  • Level Research, Conceptualization and Layout 

  • Procedural Level Greybox using Unreal Landscape and Spline Tools

  • Successfully incorporated the Game mechanic "Mic Input to Walk" and Iterated on the level to Strategically place 15 Cat Shrines for random Shrine generation, increasing Level's Replayability and creating an Immersive Experience

  • Landscape Material, Foliage Optimization to achieve consistent fps

  • Designing Narrative Features to compliment & enhance the horror theme

  • Modeling & Texturing custom assets like House, bridge, Fences.

  • Set Dressing and Final Look Development of the level

Dirt Metal

Overview

A third-person, multiplayer vehicular combat game. In the vast desolated land, two teams fight each other to capture the enemy flag and hang it at their own base. The players can only hang the enemy flag if the enemy isn’t carrying their flag

Multiplayer Capture the Flag Game | 3 week | UE4 | Team size: 5

Responsibilities

  • Level Conceptualization and Layout 

  • Procedural Level Greybox using Unreal Landscape and Spline Tools

  • Flexible Iterations on the Level based on Game Mechanics, Car Controls to compliment the Theme & Game Design and incorporate 4-10 players

  • Gather Playtest data to Balance the game, Improve level flow and enhance Player experience

  • Procedural Landscape Material and Set Dressing to achieve final look of the level

Quantum Games

Overview

A first-person shooter in which players fight each other inside a quantum arena, but with a twist: the player's height serves as their health bar. Both players have a special weapon that causes the attacked enemy to shrink. Upgrade your gear with the latest tech and be the last man standing!

Multiplayer FPS | 1 week | UE4 | Team size: 5

Responsibilities

  • Rapid Level Conceptualization, Layout & Greybox in Unreal Engine to get the level ready for playtest 

  • Conducting Playtest and addressing feedbacks to Iterate on the level

  • Finding Creative Solutions to successfully incorporate the Game mechanic "Player Shrink as they get shot"

  • Final Look Dev and Fx to add affordances to the level pathways and exits

  • Assisted in Set Dressing to achieve the final look of the level
